Friosur produces the finest seafood products for Chile and the world with the hands of its workers, who are also the owners of the company.

“Since 2020, the employees of Friosur Fisheries have become shareholders of the company through their participation in the Friosur Workers’ Cooperative. This step resulted from an extensive dialogue process, in which the owners sought —among other goals— to contribute to the development and well-being of the workers once they retire.”

The minimum requirement to be part of the cooperative is having more than five years of service with the company. Temporary employees can also join the cooperative, provided they meet the minimum service requirement by working at least one month per year as a temporary worker at Friosur.
